Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified and fixed in the Berkeley Internet Name Domain (BIND) software, which implements DNS protocols. The issues include several denial of service (DoS) vulnerabilities caused by malformed or crafted DNS messages and replies, as well as an arbitrary code execution vulnerability via GSS-TSIG UDP message replay. These vulnerabilities affect Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 Extended Update Support and related products. Red Hat has released an important security update addressing these issues.
