AI-suggested
Red Hat has released updated dogtag-pki packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and its variants that fix these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the official updates as described in Red Hat advisory RHSA-2026:92408 and the referenced update article (https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258). No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying these patches.
Description
Red Hat has issued a security advisory for dogtag-pki, an enterprise Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) management system. The update addresses three vulnerabilities: a decompression-bomb denial of service in RESTEasy's IIOImageProvider (CVE-2026-89059), a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) filter misconfiguration allowing reflection of arbitrary origins with credentials under wildcard settings (CVE-2026-89058), and a denial of service via regular expression backtracking in Jackson-core (CVE-2026-89407). These issues affect components of the dogtag-pki system used in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and related variants. The advisory rates the impact as Important and provides updated packages to remediate these vulnerabilities.
