Description
A security update for the fence-agents package in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.0 addresses a vulnerability in the urllib3 library (CVE-2024-37891) where the proxy-authorization request header is not stripped during cross-origin redirects. The fence-agents package manages remote power control for cluster nodes, allowing failed or unreachable nodes to be restarted or removed. This issue could potentially affect the security of proxy authorization headers during redirects.
