AI-suggested

A security update for Firefox is available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 Extended Update Support. Users should apply the update packages (e.g., firefox-140.11.0-1.el10_0) provided by Red Hat to remediate these vulnerabilities. Detailed instructions and update packages are available at the Red Hat advisory page: https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. Since this is an official Red Hat security advisory with available fixes, applying the update is the recommended mitigation.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities affecting Mozilla Firefox have been addressed in a Red Hat security update for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 Extended Update Support. These include issues such as incorrect boundary conditions, sandbox escapes, integer overflows, memory safety bugs, privilege escalations, denial-of-service, information disclosure, same-origin policy bypass, use-after-free, spoofing, and mitigation bypass across various Firefox components including the JavaScript engine, networking, audio/video, DOM, security sandboxing, and enterprise policies. The update fixes these vulnerabilities in Firefox ESR 115.36, ESR 140.11, and Firefox 151.
