Applications using AIOHTTP that load data via CookieJar.load() should implement input sanitization to prevent loading untrusted or malicious data. Red Hat Satellite users should follow Red Hat's documentation and advisories for updates. Monitor Red Hat advisories for any forthcoming patches.

Description

CVE-2026-34993 is a security vulnerability in the AIOHTTP Python asynchronous HTTP framework, specifically in the CookieJar.load() function. This flaw allows potential arbitrary code execution if untrusted input is loaded, which could enable an attacker to run malicious code. Exploitation requires the application to be configured to load attacker-controlled files, a scenario uncommon in default Red Hat product deployments. Red Hat Satellite includes Red Hat Lightspeed, which uses AIOHTTP, but no fixes have been released yet. Mitigation involves sanitizing input before loading it with CookieJar.load().
