Description

Red Hat has issued a security advisory for multiple vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel packages included in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.8. The update addresses several use-after-free, out-of-bounds write, race condition, and validation issues that could lead to denial of service or privilege escalation. The advisory includes fixes for CVE-2026-23270 and nine other CVEs affecting various kernel subsystems such as traffic control, netfilter, multipath TCP, ALSA audio, TCP, distributed lock manager, and RDMA. A system reboot is required after applying the update.
