What to do

AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated kernel packages that address these vulnerabilities. Users of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and related products should apply the kernel update as provided by Red Hat Product Security. A system reboot is required after installation to ensure the fixes are active. Refer to Red Hat's official update instructions at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258 for detailed guidance.

Description

Red Hat has issued a security advisory for multiple vulnerabilities in the Linux kernel packages included with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. The update addresses several issues including out-of-bounds memory access, race conditions, null pointer dereferences, and locking problems across various kernel subsystems such as HID multitouch, audit, memory management, networking, IOMMU, TLS, SCTP, DRM, and USB. These vulnerabilities have been rated as important by Red Hat Product Security. A system reboot is required after applying the update to ensure the fixes take effect.
