Description

This advisory addresses security vulnerabilities in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 kernel live patch modules for kernel version 5.14.0-284.52.1.el9_2. The update fixes two issues: a missing range check in the netfilter ipset component (CVE-2024-53141) and an issue in the vsock component related to socket binding persistence (CVE-2025-21756). These patches are delivered as live kernel patches via the kpatch utility and require a system reboot to take effect.
