AI-suggested
Red Hat has released fixed versions: .NET SDK 6.0.135 and .NET Runtime 6.0.35. Users should apply these updates promptly to remediate the vulnerabilities. Detailed update instructions are available in the Red Hat advisory at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are indicated by the vendor.
Description
.NET 6.0 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux has multiple denial of service (DoS) vulnerabilities affecting components such as System.IO.Packaging, System.Text.Json, and other .NET components susceptible to hash flooding. Updated versions .NET SDK 6.0.135 and .NET Runtime 6.0.35 address these issues. The vulnerabilities could allow attackers to cause DoS conditions by exploiting weaknesses in data structures and JSON processing.
