AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated .NET SDK and Runtime packages (6.0.135 and 6.0.1.35 respectively) that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply these official updates promptly to remediate the issues. Detailed update instructions are available in the Red Hat advisory at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are indicated or required beyond applying the provided patches.

Description

.NET 6.0 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux has multiple security vulnerabilities that could lead to denial of service (DoS) conditions. These include hash flooding attacks affecting multiple .NET components (CVE-2024-43483), DoS vectors in System.IO.Packaging due to SortedList usage (CVE-2024-43484), and a DoS vulnerability in System.Text.Json (CVE-2024-43485). Updated versions .NET SDK 6.0.135 and .NET Runtime 6.0.1.35 address these issues.
