What to do
AI-suggested
Red Hat has released OpenJDK 11.0.22 with fixes for all listed vulnerabilities and corrected binaries for RHEL 7 compatibility. Users should update to this release immediately to address the security issues and avoid compatibility problems. To verify if the incorrect binaries are installed on RHEL 7, run 'java -version' and update if the command fails. Refer to Red Hat's official update instructions and the OpenJDK Life Cycle and Support Policy for further guidance.
Description
Red Hat has released an important security update for OpenJDK 11 (version 11.0.22) addressing multiple vulnerabilities including out-of-bounds array access, RSA padding and timing side-channel issues in TLS, JVM class file verifier flaws, arbitrary code execution in Nashorn, and logging of private keys. The update replaces the previous 11.0.21 release and fixes several critical security flaws. Additionally, an issue with incorrectly built binaries for RHEL 7 systems was corrected in this release.
