AI-suggested
Red Hat has released OpenJDK 11.0.22 as a replacement for version 11.0.21, which includes fixes for all listed vulnerabilities. Users should apply this update promptly to mitigate the security risks. For detailed update instructions, refer to the Red Hat advisory at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the official update.
Description
Red Hat has released an important security update for its OpenJDK 11 build (version 11.0.22) for Windows, addressing multiple vulnerabilities including array out-of-bounds access, RSA padding and timing side-channel issues in TLS, JVM class file verifier flaws, arbitrary code execution in Nashorn, range check loop optimization issues, and logging of digital signature private keys. These vulnerabilities could allow unverified bytecode execution, arbitrary code execution, and potential exposure of private keys. The update replaces the previous version 11.0.21 and includes security fixes and enhancements.
