Description

A denial of service vulnerability exists in the Go standard library's HTTP/2 implementation used by Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.14. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a malformed HTTP/2 SETTINGS frame with SETTINGS_MAX_FRAME_SIZE set to zero, causing an infinite loop of CONTINUATION frames and exhausting system resources. Red Hat has released updated container images for OpenShift 4.14 to address this issue and advises users to upgrade accordingly.
