AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated packages and container images for OpenShift Container Platform 4.14.77 that fix these vulnerabilities. Upgrades can be performed using the OpenShift CLI (oc) or the web console. Detailed upgrade instructions are available in the official Red Hat OpenShift documentation. No alternative mitigations or workarounds are specified.

Description

Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.14.77 includes security updates addressing three vulnerabilities: a denial of service in Go HTTP/2 via malformed SETTINGS_MAX_FRAME_SIZE frames (CVE-2026-33814), a privilege escalation due to incorrect Punycode label processing (CVE-2026-39821), and man-in-the-middle attacks via untrusted intermediate certificates in crypto/x509 (CVE-2026-111943). These issues affect the Golang components used by OpenShift. Users of OpenShift Container Platform 4.14 are advised to upgrade to the updated packages and container images when available.
