Red Hat has released security updates for OpenSSH in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and its variants to address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the updates as described in the Red Hat advisory (https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258) to remediate the issues. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the official patches.
Description
Two vulnerabilities in OpenSSH related to the ProxyCommand feature allow code execution when processing control characters in usernames (CVE-2025-61984) or null characters in ssh:// URIs (CVE-2025-61985). These issues affect Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 and its variants. Red Hat has released security updates to address these flaws.
