Red Hat has released an official security update for PCP (version 6.3.7-1.el10_0.1) that addresses all listed vulnerabilities. Users should apply this update promptly following Red Hat's published guidance at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are required beyond applying the official patch.
Description
Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10.0 Extended Update Support contains multiple security vulnerabilities including arbitrary command execution via command injection, privilege escalation to root, unauthenticated access bypassing access controls, and denial of service due to signed integer overflow. These issues affect the linux_sockets PMDA and pmproxy components. Red Hat has released an important security update addressing these vulnerabilities.
