AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated pki-core packages as part of an important security advisory (RHSA-2026:73766) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and related variants. Users should apply these official updates promptly to remediate the vulnerabilities. Detailed update instructions are available at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the vendor-provided patches.

Description

Two security vulnerabilities were identified in the Red Hat pki-core component, part of the Red Hat Certificate System. The first (CVE-2026-76561) allows code execution via unsanitized profile content in certprofile-import. The second (CVE-2026-80110) involves a reverse-lexicographic tie-break in the REST ACL filter that lets a CA Agent invoke an admin-only endpoint. Red Hat has released an important security update for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 to address these issues.
