Description
A moderate severity vulnerability (CVE-2024-37891) in urllib3, a Python HTTP client library, allows the proxy-authorization request header to persist during cross-origin redirects. This behavior can lead to unintended disclosure of proxy credentials when redirects occur across different origins. The issue affects Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.4 Extended Update Support versions of python3.12-urllib3. A security update is available from Red Hat to address this vulnerability.
