What to do
AI-suggested
Red Hat has released updated RPM packages for nodejs26 and related components that fix this vulnerability. Users should apply the update as detailed in the Red Hat advisory at https://images.redhat.com/. No additional mitigations are specified or required beyond applying the official fix.
Description
A denial of service (DoS) vulnerability exists in the undici HTTP client used in Red Hat Hardened Images. A remote server can trigger this by initiating a TLS renegotiation and presenting a certificate with a mismatched hostname, causing the client to fail an assertion and terminate the process. This disrupts active network requests. An update including fixed RPM packages is available from Red Hat.
