AI-suggested

Apply the Red Hat update for Hardened Images RPMs that includes the fixed SQLite version 3.53.3-1.hum1 or later. Applications should only apply changesets from trusted, authenticated sources and validate changeset input before applying. Where possible, rebuild SQLite with version 3.53.2 or later containing the upstream fix.

Description

A vulnerability in SQLite's Session Extension allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a NULL pointer dereference by supplying a malformed changeset blob. This flaw affects only applications that enable the Session Extension and apply changesets from untrusted sources. A fixed SQLite release (3.53.2 and later) is available upstream. Red Hat has issued an update for Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs that includes this fix.
