AI-suggested
Red Hat has released updated packages netavark-2.1.0-1.hum1 and netavark-tests-2.1.0-1.hum1 for affected architectures. Users should apply these updates to mitigate the vulnerability. No alternative mitigations or workarounds are specified. Patch status is confirmed as fixed in these updated RPMs.
Description
A denial of service (DoS) vulnerability exists in rustls-webpki due to improper handling of a specially crafted Certificate Revocation List (CRL) containing an empty onlySomeReasons value in its issuingDistributionPoint extension. This flaw can cause applications that enable CRL revocation checking to panic and crash. The issue is tracked as CVE-2026-93599 and affects Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs, specifically the netavark package versions updated to 2.1.0-1.hum1. Red Hat has released an update to address this vulnerability.
