What to do

AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated prometheus3.13 RPMs (version 3.13.2-0.2.hum1) that fix this vulnerability. Users should apply these updates to remediate the issue. Alternatively, disabling source map auto-loading by passing map: false to PostCSS can mitigate the vulnerability but will remove source map support entirely.

Description

A vulnerability (CVE-2026-69153) exists in PostCSS used in Red Hat Hardened Images RPMs, where a specially crafted sourceMappingURL can cause unintended source-map files to be read and exposed. This may reveal limited sensitive information about the application's source code. The flaw requires server-side processing of attacker-controlled CSS and does not allow arbitrary file reading. Red Hat rates this issue as Moderate impact and has released updated RPMs to address it.
