Description

CVE-2025-66506 is a denial of service vulnerability in Fulcio, a free-to-use certificate authority used by Red Hat OpenShift Pipelines. The flaw allows resource exhaustion due to excessive memory allocation when processing a malicious OpenID Connect (OIDC) identity token containing numerous period characters. This can lead to service unavailability in affected Red Hat products that utilize Fulcio. The issue is addressed in the Red Hat OpenShift Pipelines Operator release 1.15.4.
