Description
Red Hat OpenShift Service Mesh 3.3.9 addresses multiple security vulnerabilities affecting the underlying Golang components and HTTP handling. The fixes include issues such as man-in-the-middle attacks via untrusted intermediate certificates, denial of service via crafted HTTP headers and frames, HTTP request smuggling, directory traversal on Windows, cross-site scripting, and cross-user response poisoning. These vulnerabilities impact the microservice architecture managed by OpenShift Service Mesh, which is based on the Istio project.
