AI-suggested
Red Hat has released updated packages for OpenShift Developer Tools and Services 4.15 that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the security update as detailed in the Red Hat advisory (RHSA-2025:2220) and the referenced update instructions at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are indicated beyond applying the official patches.
Description
Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified and fixed in Jenkins components used by Red Hat Product OCP Tools 4.15 OpenShift Jenkins. These include a denial of service vulnerability in XStream due to stack overflow, file disclosure in the Jenkins Script Security Plugin, lack of approval checks for rebuilt Jenkins pipelines, mishandling of unbalanced comment strings in json-lib, and the ability to restart builds with unapproved Jenkinsfiles. Red Hat has released an important security update addressing these issues.
