AI-suggested
Red Hat has released an updated 389-ds-base package (version 2.4.5-25.module+el9dsrv+24653+2bc8f722) for Red Hat Directory Server 12.4 on RHEL 9.4 that fixes these vulnerabilities. Users should apply this update following the instructions in the Red Hat advisory article https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigations are specified or required beyond applying the official update.
Description
Red Hat Directory Server 12.4 for RHEL 9.4 has received an important security update addressing three vulnerabilities in the 389-ds-base component. These include a pre-authentication LDAP filter injection, a NULL pointer dereference in the BER parser, and a pre-authentication stack buffer overflow via unbounded replica ID parsing. The update mitigates these issues to prevent potential exploitation.
