Description

A technical preview container image for Red Hat Satellite's Lightspeed component is available. One of the associated vulnerabilities, CVE-2026-110856, involves a denial of service (DoS) in GitPython caused by inefficient regular expression processing when parsing malicious repository metadata. This can lead to high CPU usage and service unavailability without requiring privileges or local access. No fixes have been released yet for these issues in Red Hat Satellite. The advisory lists multiple CVEs but does not provide patch information.
