What to do

AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated Thunderbird packages (version 128.9.0-2.el9_0) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.0 Update Services for SAP Solutions across supported architectures. Users should apply these updates promptly to remediate the vulnerabilities. The advisory recommends ensuring all previously released errata relevant to the system are applied before updating. No additional mitigation steps are specified beyond applying the official security update.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities were identified and fixed in Mozilla Thunderbird, including a use-after-free triggered by XSLTProcessor (CVE-2025-3028), URL bar spoofing via non-BMP Unicode characters (CVE-2025-3029), and memory safety bugs (CVE-2025-3030). These issues were addressed in Thunderbird versions 128.9 and 137. Red Hat has released security updates for Thunderbird in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.0 Update Services for SAP Solutions to remediate these vulnerabilities.
