Red Hat has released updated Thunderbird packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply the Thunderbird update to version 128.9.0-2.el8_10 or later as provided by Red Hat to remediate these issues. Description

Red Hat has issued an important security update for Mozilla Thunderbird addressing multiple vulnerabilities including URL bar spoofing via non-BMP Unicode characters, a use-after-free triggered by XSLTProcessor, and various memory safety bugs. These issues affect Thunderbird versions prior to 128.9 and Firefox 137 series. The update fixes these vulnerabilities to prevent potential security risks related to spoofing and memory corruption.
