AI-suggested

Red Hat has released updated Apache Tomcat packages for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (e.g., tomcat-9.0.121-1.el8_10) that address these vulnerabilities. Users should apply these official updates promptly to remediate the security issues. For detailed update instructions, refer to Red Hat's advisory at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258. No additional mitigation steps are specified beyond applying the provided patches.

Description

Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified and addressed in Apache Tomcat as packaged by Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8. These include security constraint bypass, access control bypass due to an off-by-one error, improper input validation allowing HTTP/2 no-authority bypass of strict SNI validation, improper authentication from principal lookup failure, authentication bypass via limited replay attack in DIGEST authenticator, and unauthorized resource access via FORM authentication bypass. Red Hat has released updated packages to fix these issues.
