What to do
AI-suggested
Red Hat has issued security updates for WebKitGTK+ as part of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extended Lifecycle Support. Users should apply the available updates as described in the Red Hat advisory (RHSA-2026:58564) and the referenced article https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258 to remediate these vulnerabilities. No indication is given that no action is required or that the issues are already mitigated without updates.
Description
Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified in WebKitGTK+, a port of the WebKit web rendering engine to the GTK+ platform. These include arbitrary JavaScript execution in PDF.js, memory corruption, process crashes, sandbox escapes, sensitive data leaks, and clipboard hijacking. The issues arise from maliciously crafted web content and can lead to unexpected process termination, data disclosure, or unauthorized content processing outside the sandbox.
