AI-suggested

A security update fixing these vulnerabilities is available in perl-DBI version 10.2.3. Users should upgrade affected installations to version 10.2.3 or later to remediate these issues. Refer to the Red Hat advisory RHSA-2026:49514 for detailed update instructions.

Description

Two security vulnerabilities were identified in the perl-DBI package. CVE-2026-14380 allows arbitrary Perl code execution due to unvalidated string eval interpolation of the Profile package name. CVE-2026-14740 causes a one-byte out-of-bounds read when deleting an initial SQL comment line, potentially leading to a process crash. These issues affect certain versions of perl-DBI and have been addressed by security updates.
