AI-suggested

Users should update runc to version 1.2.7, which contains fixes for these vulnerabilities. Applying this update mitigates the container escape and denial of service issues described. No additional vendor advisories indicate alternative mitigations or that no action is required.

Description

This security update for runc addresses multiple container escape vulnerabilities and a denial of service issue caused by race conditions and improper handling of mounts and procfs writes. The update fixes three CVEs: CVE-2025-31133, CVE-2025-52565, and CVE-2025-52881. These flaws could allow an attacker to escape container isolation by exploiting mount race conditions, malicious container configurations, and arbitrary write operations. The update is provided in runc version 1.2.7.
