What to do

AI-suggested

Red Hat has not provided a fixed version or patch at this time. The advisory indicates the issue is under investigation and rated Moderate. Users should monitor Red Hat advisories for forthcoming fixes. No specific mitigations are currently documented. Since this requires local access, restricting untrusted local input to fig2dev may reduce risk until a fix is available.

This flaw allows a local attacker with low privileges to cause a denial of service by manipulating input to the utility. The vulnerability affects Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat In-Vehicle OS. Red Hat rates this issue as Moderate for their products. No patch or fix version is currently specified in the advisory.
