What to do

AI-suggested

A fix is available in Das U-Boot version 2025.01-rc1 and later. Users should upgrade to this version or a later release to remediate the vulnerability. No other mitigation guidance is provided or necessary given the availability of an official fix.

Description

Das U-Boot versions before 2025.01-rc1 contain an off-by-one error in the sqfs_search_dir function, leading to heap memory corruption when processing squashfs directory listings. This occurs because the path separator is not accounted for in size calculations.
