Until a fix is released, restrict network access to the BMC interface and monitor for suspicious IPMI activity.

Description

The Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) fails to properly enforce integrity and encryption requirements for IPMI commands. This vulnerability allows an attacker to craft malicious packets that could execute arbitrary commands on an active session without requiring privileges or user interaction. The issue poses a high security risk due to the potential for unauthorized command execution.
