Technical Analysis

CVE-2026-14211 describes an authorization vulnerability in the Booking for Appointments and Events Calendar WordPress plugin prior to version 9.7. The plugin fails to verify that an authenticated employee accessing customer records is actually associated with that customer. Consequently, any employee with Employee Panel access can enumerate sequential customer IDs to read and modify personal data of unrelated customers, violating data confidentiality and integrity.

Potential Impact

This vulnerability allows unauthorized access and modification of personal customer data by any authenticated employee with Employee Panel login credentials. It compromises the confidentiality and integrity of customer information stored by the plugin. There is no indication of active exploitation in the wild.

Mitigation Recommendations

A fix is available in version 9.7 of the plugin. Users should upgrade to version 9.7 or later to resolve this authorization issue. No other mitigation guidance is provided.
