Since this is not a cloud service, remediation depends on vendor updates. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the BPMN System REST APIs to trusted users only and monitor for suspicious activity.

Description

The BPMN System REST APIs have insufficient input validation, allowing authenticated users to submit crafted requests that may lead to arbitrary command execution on the server. This vulnerability enables attackers with valid credentials to execute commands with the privileges of the product's runtime account, potentially causing high impact depending on the permissions of that account.
