Description

The miniOrange 2FA WordPress plugin versions before 6.2.8 contain a vulnerability that fails to properly limit the number of second-factor verification attempts. This flaw arises because the plugin tracks attempts against a client-supplied identifier that is reissued on every login, allowing an attacker who knows a user's password to repeatedly guess the one-time code without restriction and potentially take over the account.
