Until a fix is available, users should be cautious about URLs with bracketed host components that are not valid IPv6 addresses.

Description

CVE-2025-47912 is a vulnerability in the Parse function that allows values other than IPv6 addresses to be enclosed in square brackets within the host component of a URL. According to RFC 3986, only IPv6 addresses should be enclosed in square brackets, while IPv4 addresses and hostnames must not. The Parse function fails to enforce this requirement, potentially leading to improper URL parsing.
