AI-suggested
Users should avoid deploying versions of the application with hardcoded API keys in client-side code. As a mitigation, the vendor should be contacted to provide an updated version that removes hardcoded keys and implements secure authentication mechanisms. Until a fix is available, restrict access to the client-side JavaScript files and monitor for unauthorized API usage if possible.
Description
The CreditNirvana Agentic AI Call Centre application contains a vulnerability due to a hardcoded static API key embedded in the client-side JavaScript bundle. This allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to extract the API key by downloading the JavaScript files. With the extracted key, the attacker could make arbitrary API calls to access sensitive call transcripts and recordings through the application's API.
