A fix is available in Vikunja version 2.7.1. Users should upgrade to version 2.7.1 or later to remediate this vulnerability. No other mitigation guidance is provided or required.

Description

Vikunja versions prior to 2.7.1 have a vulnerability that allows project writers or view admins to create an unlimited number of kanban buckets. This lack of count caps leads to uncontrolled resource consumption, causing heavy database load when kanban boards are read.
