Since the vulnerability requires authenticated access, restricting user permissions and monitoring upload endpoints may reduce risk. Check the vendor advisory or official sources for any forthcoming patches or updates. Until a fix is available, avoid exposing the upload functionality to untrusted users.

Description

Volmarg Personal Management System versions up to 2.1.0 have an unrestricted file upload vulnerability. Authenticated users can upload PHP files via the /upload/send/ endpoint by submitting base64-encoded content with a .php filename. This allows execution of arbitrary code on the server with the web server user's privileges.
