Oracle strongly recommends applying the April 2025 Critical Patch Update security patches without delay to address this and other vulnerabilities. Customers should remain on actively-supported versions and promptly apply Oracle's cumulative security patches. Since this vulnerability is included in the April 2025 CPU advisory, applying the relevant patches from that update is the primary mitigation. No alternative or temporary mitigations are indicated in the advisory content.
Description
A vulnerability (CVE-2025-30698) affects Oracle Java SE, Oracle GraalVM for JDK, and Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition in their 2D component. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to perform unauthorized read, update, insert, or delete operations on accessible data and cause partial denial of service.
