CVE-2026-50032 is a high-severity vulnerability in MZ Automation's libIEC61850 library. It involves a NULL pointer dereference in the MMS Write Named Variable List handler. An attacker adjacent to the network can cause the server to crash by sending a WriteRequest with an empty listOfData field. This affects versions from 1.0.0 up to and including 1.6.1.
CVE-2026-13065 is a high-severity vulnerability in MongoDB Server where a user with read-only privileges can cause the mongod process to crash by crafting an aggregation pipeline using the $linearFill window function with a specific sortBy expression. This leads to a NULL pointer dereference and results in a denial of service. The issue arises from insufficient validation of sort specifications during execution.
A MongoDB server initiating an outbound TLS connection may terminate abnormally when processing a malformed OCSP response from a remote peer during the TLS handshake. OCSP stapling validation is enabled by default for outgoing TLS connections. Affected scenarios require the remote peer to hold a certificate issued by the cluster's trusted certificate authority, or for the connection to traverse an untrusted network path.
In NLnet Labs Unbound 1.10.0 up to and including 1.25.1, when 'serve-expired: yes' is set together with a 'response-ip: <net> redirect' /'response-ip-data: <net> CNAME <target>' rule (or the RPZ 'rpz-cname-override' equivalent), a remote client who controls any delegated domain can crash the daemon. The serve-expired-client-timeout callback runs a two-pass loop to chase the respip-generated CNAME alias; on the second pass it resets 'alias_rrset' but not 'partial_rep'. Later, this inconsistency leads to a NULL pointer dereference and an eventual crash. A malicious actor can exploit the vulnerability by controlling any zone that replies with an A/AAAA record that falls inside the configured response-ip/rpz subnet. By delaying the answer when the previous record has expired, the vulnerable path of 'serve-expired-client-timeout' is taken leading to denial of service via the server crash.
libheif is a HEIF and AVIF file format decoder and encoder. Versions prior to 1.22.0 crashes in the public C API `heif_image_handle_get_image_tiling()` when a malformed uncompressed HEIF image item has an associated `uncC` property but no associated `ispe` property. In debug builds this trips the `ispe && uncC` assertion in `ImageItem_uncompressed::get_heif_image_tiling()`. In a release/NDEBUG ASan build, the same file causes a null pointer read at address `0xa8`. Version 1.22.0 fixes the issue.
Capstone is a disassembly framework. Versions prior to 6.0.0-Alpha8 and 5.0.8 have a NULL pointer dereference in `modRMRequired()` and `decode()` when disassembling 3DNow! opcodes (`0F 0F`) in builds compiled with `-DCAPSTONE_X86_REDUCE`, allowing a remote attacker to crash any application using the reduced X86 Capstone library by supplying a crafted input containing the 4-byte sequence `0F 0F <modrm> <imm8>`. Versions 6.0.0-Alpha8 and 5.0.8 patch the issue.
CVE-2026-16353 is a critical security vulnerability involving an invalid pointer in the DOM: Bindings (WebIDL) component of Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird. This flaw was addressed and fixed in Firefox 153, Firefox ESR 115.38, Firefox ESR 140.13, Thunderbird 153, and Thunderbird 140.13. The vulnerability could lead to memory corruption issues. No known exploits in the wild have been reported. The fix is officially available from Mozilla as part of their security advisories.
CVE-2026-15352 is a high-severity vulnerability in NASA's Core Flight System (cFS) Health & Safety (HS) application. It involves a NULL pointer dereference that occurs when processing a routine Housekeeping Telemetry request. This flaw causes the application to crash with a segmentation fault, resulting in a denial of service condition. No patch or official remediation has been confirmed yet. The vulnerability does not impact confidentiality or integrity but affects availability. There are no known exploits in the wild at this time.
When NGINX Ingress Controller processes Ingress or TransportServer resources, an authenticated, remote attacker with permission to create or modify Ingress or TransportServer resources can cause the NGINX Ingress Controller process to terminate.
Impact:
The NGINX Ingress Controller control plane process terminates and enters a persistent crash loop while the malformed Ingress or TransportServer resource remains in the cluster. This vulnerability allows a remote, authenticated attacker with at least Ingress or TransportServer resource write access to cause a denial-of-service (DoS) on the NGINX Ingress Controller system. There is no data plane exposure; this is a control plane issue only.
Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated.
The CONFIG_USERSPACE verification handler for the k_thread_name_copy() system call (z_vrfy_k_thread_name_copy() in kernel/thread.c) calls k_object_find() on the caller-supplied thread pointer and then dereferences the returned struct k_object without checking it for NULL. k_object_find() returns NULL whenever the supplied pointer is not a registered (static or dynamic) kernel object.
The pre-fix guard tested thread == NULL instead of ko == NULL, so an unprivileged user-mode thread that invokes k_thread_name_copy() with any non-NULL but unregistered pointer (e.g. an arbitrary address) passes the NULL test, after which the verifier reads ko->type through a NULL pointer.
Because the syscall verifier runs in supervisor mode, this NULL dereference is a kernel-mode fault that halts or reboots the system, allowing untrusted user code to crash the kernel across the userspace security boundary (denial of service). The marshaller passes the thread argument to the verifier without any prior K_SYSCALL_OBJ validation, so the bad pointer reaches the defect directly.
The flaw affects builds with CONFIG_USERSPACE and CONFIG_THREAD_NAME enabled and has been present since the special-case lookup was introduced around v2.0.0; it is present in v4.4.0 and earlier. The fix changes the guard to check the k_object_find() return value (ko == NULL) before dereferencing it.
Crypt::OpenSSL::X509 versions before 2.1.3 for Perl allow denial of service via NULL pointer dereference.
X509V3_EXT_d2i(ext) returns NULL when an extension's DER value fails to parse. basicC, ia5string, and auth_att dereference its result without a NULL check. keyid_data also dereferences akid->keyid, which is NULL for an empty AKI SEQUENCE (DER 30 00) even when the parse succeeds.
A caller invoking an affected helper on an extension from an untrusted certificate triggers a SIGSEGV that crashes the Perl process.
NanaZip is the 7-Zip derivative intended for the modern Windows experience. Prior to 6.5.1749.0, NanaZip's seven in-house IInArchive handlers in NanaZip.Codecs unconditionally dereference the caller-supplied Indices array inside Extract when the archive engine signals extract everything by passing Indices as NULL and NumItems as 0xFFFFFFFF. This causes a NULL pointer dereference in the standard Test archive or Extract all code path for WebAssembly, ElectronAsar, Zealfs, Romfs, Ufs, Littlefs, and DotNetSingleFile archives, resulting in a process crash. This issue is fixed in version 6.5.1749.0.
A NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in the management daemon (mgd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a local, high-privileged attacker setting or deactivating a specific SSH configuration parameter to create a Denial of Service (DoS).
A local high-privileged user configuring or deactivating a specific 'system services ssh' configuration parameter can exploit a null pointer dereference in one of the functions used by SSH. The function attempts to dereference a null pointer when accessing certain configuration data, resulting in an mgd process crash and restart. Continued execution of these configuration commands will create a sustained Denial of Service (DoS) condition.
This issue affects:
Junos OS:
* from 22.3 before 22.3R3-S5;
* from 22.4 before 22.4R3-S10;
* from 23.2 before 23.2R2-S7;
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S8.
This issue does not affect Junos OS before 22.3R1.
Junos OS Evolved:
* from 22.3R1-EVO before 23.2R2-S7-EVO;
* from 23.4 before 23.4R2-S8-EVO.
This issue does not affect Junos OS Evolved before 22.3R1-EVO.
A vulnerability was found in GNU LibreDWG up to 0.13.4. The impacted element is the function dwg_next_entity of the file src/dwg.c of the component DWG File Handler. Performing a manipulation of the argument next_obj results in null pointer dereference. The attack must be initiated from a local position. The exploit has been made public and could be used. Upgrading to version 0.14 is sufficient to resolve this issue. The patch is named dde45dac3c4d902e4d8fed150a8017b9732019c9. Upgrading the affected component is recommended. Different than CVE-2026-9503.
