In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fuse: reject fuse_notify() pagecache ops on directories
The operations FUSE_NOTIFY_STORE and FUSE_NOTIFY_RETRIEVE allow the
FUSE daemon to actively write/read pagecache contents.
For directories with FOPEN_CACHE_DIR, the pagecache is used as
kernel-internal cache storage, and userspace is not supposed to have
direct access to this cache - in particular, fuse_parse_cache() will hit
WARN_ON() if the cache contains bogus data.
Reject FUSE_NOTIFY_STORE and FUSE_NOTIFY_RETRIEVE on anything other than
regular files with -EINVAL.
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD display driver allows an out-of-bounds write during HDMI HDCP 2.x repeater authentication. The driver reads a message size from the sink's RxStatus register and uses it to determine the length of a read operation without properly clamping it to the buffer size. This can lead to memory corruption if a malicious HDMI repeater advertises an oversized message. The issue is fixed by clamping the read length to the buffer size in the affected function.
A deadlock vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Btrfs filesystem was resolved. The issue occurs when using the flushoncommit mount option, causing a deadlock between reflink operations and transaction commits. This deadlock arises due to locking conflicts when copying inline extents beyond the current file size and flushing delayed allocations. The vulnerability can cause tasks to block indefinitely, impacting system availability.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mt76: mt7915: fix use-after-free bugs in mt7915_mac_dump_work()
When the mt7915 pci chip is detaching, the mt7915_crash_data is
released in mt7915_coredump_unregister(). However, the work item
dump_work may still be running or pending, leading to UAF bugs
when the already freed crash_data is dereferenced again in
mt7915_mac_dump_work().
The race condition can occur as follows:
CPU 0 (removal path) | CPU 1 (workqueue)
mt7915_pci_remove() | mt7915_sys_recovery_set()
mt7915_unregister_device() | mt7915_reset()
mt7915_coredump_unregister() | queue_work()
vfree(dev->coredump.crash_data) | mt7915_mac_dump_work()
| crash_data-> // UAF
Fix this by ensuring dump_work is properly canceled before
the crash_data is deallocated. Add cancel_work_sync() in
mt7915_unregister_device() to synchronize with any pending
or executing dump work.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: mt76: mt7996: fix use-after-free bugs in mt7996_mac_dump_work()
When the mt7996 pci chip is detaching, the mt7996_crash_data is
released in mt7996_coredump_unregister(). However, the work item
dump_work may still be running or pending, leading to UAF bugs
when the already freed crash_data is dereferenced again in
mt7996_mac_dump_work().
The race condition can occur as follows:
CPU 0 (removal path) | CPU 1 (workqueue)
mt7996_pci_remove() | mt7996_sys_recovery_set()
mt7996_unregister_device() | mt7996_reset()
mt7996_coredump_unregister() | queue_work()
vfree(dev->coredump.crash_data) | mt7996_mac_dump_work()
| crash_data-> // UAF
Fix this by ensuring dump_work is properly canceled before
the crash_data is deallocated. Add cancel_work_sync() in
mt7996_unregister_device() to synchronize with any pending
or executing dump work.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ASoC: qcom: qdsp6: topology: check widget type before accessing data
Check widget type before accessing the private data, as this could a
virtual widget which is no associated with a dsp graph, container and
module. Accessing witout check could lead to incorrect memory access.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
gfs2: prevent NULL pointer dereference during unmount
When flushing out outstanding glock work during an unmount, gfs2_log_flush()
can be called when sdp->sd_jdesc has already been deallocated and sdp->sd_jdesc
is NULL. Commit 35264909e9d1 ("gfs2: Fix NULL pointer dereference in
gfs2_log_flush") added a check for that to gfs2_log_flush() itself, but it
missed the sdp->sd_jdesc dereference in gfs2_log_release(). Fix that.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
af_unix: Reject SIOCATMARK on non-stream sockets
SIOCATMARK reports whether the receive queue is at the urgent mark for
MSG_OOB.
In AF_UNIX, MSG_OOB is supported only for SOCK_STREAM sockets.
SOCK_DGRAM and SOCK_SEQPACKET reject MSG_OOB in sendmsg() and recvmsg(),
so they should not support SIOCATMARK either.
Return -EOPNOTSUPP for non-stream sockets before checking the receive
queue.
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ip6_vti: set netns_immutable on the fallback device.
john1988 and Noam Rathaus reported that vti6_init_net() does not set the
netns_immutable flag on the per-netns fallback tunnel device (ip6_vti0).
Other similar tunnel drivers (like ip6_tunnel, sit, ip6_gre, and ip_tunnel)
correctly set this flag during their fallback device initialization to
prevent them from being moved to another network namespace.
CVE-2026-46319 is a local privilege escalation vulnerability in the Linux Kernel related to the net/sched act_ct component. Exploitation requires the attacker to already have the ability to execute high-privileged code on the target system. The vulnerability involves improper release of the RCU read lock after ct_ft. No patch or remediation details are provided in the available data.
A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's power management domain (pmdomain) handling was fixed by adding a missing call to disable runtime power management for virtual devices during detachment. Without this fix, virtual devices detached from their power management domain could remain with runtime PM enabled, potentially causing critical errors such as NULL pointer dereferences or unnecessary performance state votes.
An HTTP Request/Response Splitting vulnerability (CWE-113) exists in the cowlib library used by cowboy and gun. The vulnerability arises because the encoder escapes only backslash and double quote characters but allows other bytes, including CR and LF, to pass through. This mismatch with the parser's expectations enables an attacker to inject CRLF sequences into HTTP headers, potentially splitting the response. This affects cowlib versions prior to 2.16.0.
