CVE-2026-7574: CWE-353 Missing support for integrity check in Anthropic Claude Desktop CoworkCVE-2026-7574 0 Anthropic Claude Desktop Cowork versions including 1.1348.0 lack integrity verification for the VM root filesystem image (rootfs.img) at boot. The software only checks for file presence and a version marker string, allowing a local attacker with unprivileged access to modify the VM image. This modification can lead to persistent arbitrary code execution within the VM and access to host-mounted directories. The vulnerability is classified under CWE-353 (Missing Support for Integrity Check) and carries a high severity with a CVSS score of 8.7.
