CVE-2026-82710 is a vulnerability in ash-project usage_rules where terminal control sequences are not properly neutralized in output generated by mix usage_rules.search_docs. This allows a malicious package publisher to inject ANSI escape sequences into terminal output, potentially forging displayed URLs, hiding text, or writing to the clipboard. The issue affects versions from 0.1.18 up to but not including 1.2.8. No authentication or elevated privileges are required to exploit this vulnerability.
