CVE-2026-20262 is a vulnerability in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager (formerly SD-WAN vManage) that allows authenticated remote attackers to create or overwrite files on the system via crafted HTTP requests, enabling escalation to root privileges. The flaw affects multiple versions across several release lines and was actively exploited in zero-day attacks. Cisco has released security updates to address this issue and strongly advises customers to apply patches. The vulnerability impacts all deployment types, including on-premises and cloud-managed environments.
