0 Eclipse ioFog Controller versions 3.8.0 through 3.9.1 have a critical vulnerability where operator WebSocket upgrades on exec and log routes do not verify bearer JWT tokens. This allows attackers with a self-minted token containing admin groups to bypass RBAC and open exec or log sessions for microservices or fogs if they know the UUID. HTTP routes and agent WebSockets are not affected as they properly verify tokens. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/20/2026, 12:34:08 UTC Added: 10/20/2026, 12:49:07 UTC |
0 Eclipse ioFog Controller versions 3.8.0 through 3.9.1 contain a vulnerability where POST, PUT, and PATCH requests with template substitution are processed by an uncapped Liquid engine before authentication and RBAC checks. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to send a small JSON body that can stall or abort the Controller process, causing a denial of service affecting the control plane and agent API availability. The vulnerability does not expose data or allow unauthorized actions beyond availability impact. Join the discussion | CVE Database V5 | 10/20/2026, 12:23:27 UTC Added: 10/20/2026, 12:49:07 UTC |
